psychobiology™ Practitioner Training

WHERE THE MEASURABLE AND THE MEANINGFUL BELONG TOGETHER.

Psychobiology™ is a practitioner training that integrates psychology with human physiology — demystifying and teaching you to read psychological patterns and biological processes as two registers of a single living system, and to work across both with rigour and in evidence, in clinical practice.

Curriculum

50+ Modules of content, including:

01 — FOUNDATIONS

  • The Two-Register Framework: physiology and psyche as two registers of one living system, neither causing the other — and why this changes how you'll assess a client from session one

  • The Practitioner Formation Model: formation vs. information transfer: why this training builds you as an instrument, not just your knowledge base

  • Working with Patterns: patterns as raw material to transmute rather than symptoms to eliminate, and why this stance changes client outcomes

Where you'll be positioned to work once this section is complete: reading a client's presentation as one process, not two separate problems to refer out and understanding Psychobiology — what it is and where it comes from

02 — THE FUNDAMENTALS

  • Light and circadian rhythm — what circadian entrainment actually is, and how to recognize when a client's mood or anxiety symptoms trace back there

  • Sleep as more than rest — The relationship between sleep architecture and emotional regulation

  • Breath as container — a direct lever on the nervous system state, hormonal health, posture and function

  • Food and nutrition — how shapes mood and stress capacity at a foundational level

  • Movement as physiological regulation — how movement patterns show up as psychological material in session

  • Substrate through the 5 levers — the underlying capacity a body needs before any deeper intervention can hold, rather than as adjacent self-care or lifestyle advice

  • Circadian disruption as a clinical variable in trauma — recognizing when PTSD/CPTSD symptoms are partly a phase problem

By the end of this section: concrete, low-barrier interventions you can bring into practice immediately, before any advanced material (the fastest path from training to use with real clients)

03 — THE BODY & PHYSIOLOGY

  • Stress physiology grounded in the Selye lineage — how chronic stress actually reorganizes the body, not just the nervous system

  • Stress vs Eustress — the distinction between stress that builds capacity and stress that depletes it, and how to tell which one a client is in

  • Core biochemical systems: histamine and mast-cell activity, methylation pathways, GABA/glutamate balance, and how each shows up in a client's psychological presentation

  • HTMA (hair tissue mineral analysis) as a diagnostic tool — how to read mineral and metabolic data symbolically and as part of a client's story, not as an isolated lab report

  • Working with HTMA— moving a client toward repletion through the fundamentals, not through supplement protocols

  • Substrate Before Signal: a core part of Psychobiology™ and a practical framework for asking why a body can't regulate before jumping to what to eliminate or suppress

04 — THE INTERPRETIVE PRACTICE

  • How to hold physiological and psychological data in the same frame during a session — practical technique, not just theory

  • The practitioner's own physiology and shadow material as part of the clinical picture: how to notice when your own nervous system or unresolved material is shaping what you're seeing in a client

  • Working with Interpretive Terrains — reading the physiological and psychological material available in a session and in your own practice

  • Field Sensing — How to tell productive resonance apart from unconscious collusion, with concrete diagnostic questions you'll use in real time

  • Boundaries — how to recognize the edge of your scope, and refer out responsibly

  • Case Based Interpretation: Working through how physiological and psychological threads actually braid together in real client presentations

05 — THE PSYCHOBIOLOGICAL PROCESS IN FORMALITY

  • The full 10 step Psychobiological Process broken down step by step

  • Case study presentations of the 10 step process in real time

  • From intake through integration: building a full session arc using the Psychobiological Process

  • Co-regulation as a whole-system exchange (physiological, psychological, somatic, relational) — not simply "nervous system to nervous system"

  • Certification Track — option to certify in Psychobiology™ and be listed as a global accredited practitioner

Whole person care becomes possible when physiology, psychology, meaning and are no longer treated as separate domains but understood as expressions of one single living system.
